This is all I can find on it. You may need to contact NTAC to get more on it.
The command ISMC uses part of the System Message Alarm program to display ISDN trace information. Specifically it uses Minor Alarm messages. If the Minor Alarm System Messages have been disabled in System Data, then ISMC will not function. To enable Minor Alarm System Messages, set;
Check "Message" in the "Layer 3 Monitor Type" window.
In the "EDIT D-CH EN" field, enter the first LENs number of the sub-highway serving your PRI card. This would be the Dch route, trunk 2.
Press <enter>.
Click on Get.
You will either have to wait until the fault messages scroll by in the lower window before seeing the Dch messages or run DFTD first to empty the fault message buffer.
Then all you have to do is to find someone who can tell you what those messages mean. (Leaves me out.)
I have some documentation but really the only thing I could decipher from it is that I could see when a station made a connection to the PRI and what that station number was.
The way the messages show up on my PC PRO also shows the comm-flow, but what the numbers mean in those messages otherwise is beyond me.
