It says: Slip occurs twice a day. I get this message every day at midnight.
This is also followed by
3-I Digital Line Failure: Slip occurs 50 times a day.

This is on a new PRI link I set up to an asterisk server. There are calls going on this line throughout the day, and no-one ever complained about crackle, ticks, or dropped calls or anything.

I've tried making the NEC both the master and the slave on this line.
The ISDN protocol is set to AT&T #4#5 ESS in ARTD, CDN 65. The asterisk

As a note, I've been getting for as long as I can remember, almost daily error messages on one of my telco PRI that happens to be my clock source:

2:15am 13-I CC LINK FAILURE (TEMPORARY)
Probable cause of the failure: SABME command is received

and then right after that:

2:15am 13-J RESTORATION FROM CCS LINK FAILURE
on that same telco PRI

My vendor said about the latter one to ignore or check with Telco if they are doing some daily reset/maintenance, which they said they don't. I have no call dropping at the time when this message comes out.

Any idea about these two?

Those types of alarms tend to be too sensitive. They will report on any slip or connection activity regardless of how short or insignificant. We are talking about milliseconds in duration. The proof is in the fact that no call traffic is impacted. It could be anything from telco, a poor wire connection (at the block), a tarnished connector on the circuit card or in the back plane, ETC. It's annoying, but as long as the circuit is not down I'd read the alarm then release it and ignore it. Trying to stop it from occurring will consume too much of your time and you may never solve it.
