It's a simple feature we used to use a lot on our old 2400ICS.
If you have a frequently dialed number, you just put that in a bin in ASPD (for example 9-555-1212 goes to bin 03), and you dial *903 (where *9 is the access code to System speed dial), and your call completes.
For the life of me this doesn't work on my SV8500, even though I apparently follow the manual to the letter:

Step 1: ANPD (in my case it's ANPDL)
I have '*' set with NND=2 and BLF=0.

Step 2: ASPA (in my case it's ASPAL)
SRV=SSC; SID=15, NND=4, NND1=2

Step 3: ASFC
I assigned 1 for all RSC-s for SFI=12

Step 4: ASPD
Yes, I set up a bin: ADC=03; CD=95551212

What happens is as soon as I dial *9, I get fast busy (display says RST).

It's a hotel/motel system.
I tried deleting ANPD all together and also tried to make it 4. No avail.
I tried in ASPAL, changing NND to 2, NND1 to 2, or making them both to 4, nothing changed a thing.
I almost think some SFI still blocks its usage, but I'm not sure.

Any ideas?
I tried deleting ANPDL

I just made it work!!! Wow! After spending 3 days on it with no success, I make this post and it works within 10 minutes!

I had to used ASFCN instead of ASFC. SFI=12 got enabled there, and the feature worked.

I don't know why it required the N version.
I don't use Fusion, although my system got licenses for it, as I use 6 digit extension numbers in Hotel/Motel and when it was installed, the vendor had to add on the Fusion license to get the 6-digit extensions to work... Whatever.

So usually I program everything with L (Local Memory), or not even (L), like ASFC, but in this case I had to use ASFCN.
