Hi Guys can you help me in my concern in SV8300.

Actually we had a client running NEC SV8300 having Unit 1 and Unit 2 ,All Chassis are all occupied the slot and don't have room for additional extensions, but I still have 54 Unused Port Capacity. My plan is to add another Unit which is unit 3 to link up with the two units. Can someone help me how to program to link the the expansion unit to the main unit. Thanks in advance.

1.Configure on Existing System (Unit 1 - main System)
- CM0B, Y=1XX,Unit 03 --> Configure IP address of UNIT 03
- CM0B, Y=2XX, Unit 03 --> Configure DSP IP address of Unit 03
- Backup configuration and download the database
2. Configure on Unit 3
- Connect directly your PC to Unit 3 (Sense switch is 1)
- Load database of Unit 1
- Change the Sense switch to 3
- Connect Unit 3 into network (Port VOIP).
- Reboot Unit 3.

If it doesn't work. Reboot the whole system.

Keep in mind Units 1 to 4 are supposed to be in the same IP Subnet on the same switch. Those units you should not try to run them as remote units.
