We just did a move and I converted a handful of phones from digital (DTR-16D) to IP (ITL-12D, DT800). I somehow glossed over the fact that we were loosing 4 buttons (5 counting adding a VM button, used the message button on the digital phones for that). So, I cut out the paging button they used at the front desk along with some other keys.

No one else anywhere else has this paging set up, so now I'm lost trying to figure it out. I thought it might just be a paging group, but they say it only pages one other phone and none of the 7 paging groups I see in CM56 have just that extension.

How would someone set up something like this? Is there anywhere else in the system I should be looking for paging stuff?

Thanks

The button was either a zone page or a DSS/BLF with the page code set under it.
F1270 ~ F1277 are codes for internal zone paging buttons.
5600 is internal page group 0. You can place up to 16 phones (8 IP phones) into a zone.

What is DSS/BLF and how does it work?

I assume the F1270-F1277 are paging the IZP groups configured under CM56?

Where do you set up internal page groups?

Sorry for more questions, but I appreciate the help.

Internal zone page groups are assigned in CMD 5600-5607.
EX:5600>00>2000 - command 5600, item 00 of 16 (00-15), extension number 2000.
DSS/BLF buttons are speed dials. Many times feature access codes are programmed under them for ease of use.

I see, and the page code is like *81 or whatever?

I think configured in CM20.
