SV8300 New Phone set-up rings in 2 places - I don't want that

Hi..

Just when I thought I was getting the hang of this system, - I set up a new line and have since discovered that it rings over to the restaurant also. I have changed the phone number of the new line, switched phones and it still rings to the restaurant at the same time. I don't want that , can someone help me to turn off this mirroring effect that seems to be happening?

It is possible that the port you used was at one time programmed on a key on the restaurant phone. Check the key settings Cmd 9000 and don't just stop at the visible keys, it could be on (for example) key 32 but it is only a 24 key handset.
