We currently have a site that has a SV 8300 with a UCB that is all IP phones with approximately 500 stations this system has been in place working since 2012. We currently have about 20 phones that just DHCP connecting then go to Auto Configuration failure out of the blue. In addition now we cannot plug and play our new sets in order to get to the Login ID and Password option on the screen due to the Auto Configuration issue.

Any Ideas on a way to do this or correct the current issue. The It setup has not changed and the phones.gz file still exists in the FTP server.

For the phone to connect to the ftp server it has to know where the ftp server is (IP Address) and what the file name is. That information is housed in your DHCP server as options. You need to look at the DHCP server and see if anything has changed.
