Hey Guys,

I have a SV8300 PBX. I have a phone that was no longer needed and I want to change the extension (station) to something else to fit into our numbering scheme. We had a SV8100 connected to our SV8300 from remote site that is now decommissioned so the 8300 is alone. When I try to assign an extension that is similar to the number scheme the remote site used, It won't let me configure the phone.

Ex: Change 1950 to 3301 but the remote site had a number 330 it tries to connect to when calling 3301.

How can I tell my SV8300 to stop looking for the remote site's existing numbers when it is out of the picture?

Thanks, -Tom

In CMD 200 set 3, 33, 330 to 8004 for 4 digit extension number plan. Usually a CCIS number plan it set to A129 for networking numbering. If it is single digit 3, set it to 8004. If it is broken out to more digits, do the same, 33 to 8004, or 330 to 8004.
see for cheat sheet.

Thanks Belevedere! This worked perfectly.
