We have a SV8100 R4 installed in a hospital, the COS is set to allow Call Queuing on the main phone which is a DT300 12 key display phone, the operator will be on a call when a second call comes in.
How on earth does the operator transfer away the 1st call so that she can answer the 2nd call, if you hit the transfer button the 1st call is put on hold and you are connected to the 2nd caller. They want to get rid of the first call before dealing with the second call. Help!!

Have you tried turning it off then on again!

Just checked and Call Queuing is not allowed but Off Hook Signalling is set to Muted Off Hook Ring.

Have you tried turning it off then on again!

Don't like bumping messages to the top but desperation is kicking in!

Have you tried turning it off then on again!

What key does the call land in : CAR, CAP or loop ?

No line keys assigned to the operators phone, calls present on the answer key.
Cut my teeth on large DDI systems and very small analogue trunk systems so I have never programmed Call APpearance keys, is that where we should be looking?

Have you tried turning it off then on again!

First, set 2x CAP keys to allow tandem transfer .
Most flexible for tranfer is using VE & set it ringing ( 15 - 09 ) or delay ring ( 15 - 11 ).
By default call is transferred to CAP on answer so you can have VE key hold for the call by setting "land on key" ( 15-18 )
