I managing newly installed SV8100 at new location besides Nortel Option 61. There are some basic system admin changes that I would like to try on SV8100 for example to change the incoming ring tone and intercom ring tone per extension or is it system wide change. I appreciate if there is any help in this area.
Thank you.

Use ie to connect to the system. The default IP address is 192.168.0.10, 255.255.255.0. Log in with "tech" + 12345678.
Go to CMD 15-02-02 and 03 for trunk and extension ring tones, per extension. Before closing ie, go back to "home" and log out, or you will be locked out of the program for a while. Changes in some commands do not take effect until you log out.

Great,I was able to log in and make changes. Thank you. Another question is how to change extension to have unrestricted access (long distance dialing). I've been looking and cannot find that area.

first of all, u have to create tables and classes

for example, table 1 is non restricted access associated with class 1
so u can assign Extension 200 for example to class 1 and class 1 will follow the restricted data in table 1

and u can create table 2 and include the codes that u want to restrict and associate it to class 2

and same thing in class 3

what I usually do is:
Class 1 : no restriction
Class 2: 00 is restricted
Class 3: 0 is restricted

21-05-08 (Tables): assign table 1 to class 1 , table 2 to class 2 , table 3 to class 3
21-06-07 (Tables Data)keep table 1 empty, in table 2 enter 00 , and in table 3 enter 0
21-04-01 (EXTN rest.)assign the extensions to classes , for the extensions which has no restriction, use class 1 ...

cheers
