SV8100 inbound hunt group usage

Hello, Recently I completed SV8100 Rel. 2.0 install - not IP phones. I am curious why there is no usage on inbound trunks for DID's. NEC installers required that we have 6 hunt group inbound for DID's and 6 outbound trunks. If employees are dialing directly to DID's would there be no usage on the inbound trunks? NEC project manager could not explain how routing works consequently we have two many inbound trunks if that is the case? Phone bill only has usage on outbound trunks. I appreciate if any info on DID routing inbound trunks.

Are you utilizing SMDR for your call records? If so you need to turn on the ability to track incomming as well as outgoing calls.
