Hi everyone, I'm having a ton of trouble getting 3rd party SIP extensions to work on an SV8100. NEC DT700 IP Phones connect fine and work as expected but any 3rd party phone or even computer based soft phones will not work properly.
The device will register properly and you can see it's assigned IP address along with the extension fine but if you call the phone, it rings but if you answer it, you instantly hang up. The person who is calling you will continue to hear the phone ring until it times out.
I tried plugging in my settings into a Polycom IP 5000 conference phone and basically put in my SV8100 IP address 192.168.1.10:5070 in all the fields and set transport to be UDP. Can make calls, can receive ringing when someone calls it but hands up when answered.
I tried the same settings on a software on a PC called 'MicroSIP' and it is unable to make outbound calls but when calling it, it pops up with the incoming caller ID but if you try to answer it, it basically hangs and the person calling just hears it keep ringing.
Pulling my hair out with this one. All licensing seems to be correct. Does anyone have any ideas? It may be worth noting that on the authorization fields I get the same result with it registering whether I populate a password or not in both the system config and local device.
