Good Day:

I have a remote facility that has an SV-8300 with UM8000 Voice Mail.
They want a group to terminal hunt to voice mail. I have tried several ways to do this,
but when it reaches the last station, it kicks back to the opening greeting.
Here is my set up:

One Key dialing Option 4:
Virtual Line 12799

Terminal Hunt Group:
Pilot # Virtual x12799
Virtual x12899
Virtual x12999
Station 2721

Tested Hunt group, hunts to the last number (x2721) and kicks back to the main greeting, does not go to voice mail.
Checked x2721, it is set up for voice mail, tested calling 2721, voice mail works.

Changed programming; in busy/no answer state calls forwarded as follows:
X12799 fwd to 12899
X12899 fwd to 12999
X12999 fwd to x2721
Tested forwarding, forwards to the last number (x2721) and kicks back to the main greeting, does not go to voice mail.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

A VM call always goes to the mailbox of the first number dialed. In this case it's 12799. If there is no mailbox, then it has nowhere to go, so it ends up at the main greeting. Use a 4 digit number for the pilot and create a transaction box for it under the user of box 2721.

Thanks, I will try that after hours tonight.
