Hello,

I have two sv8300 tie up with ccis. Configured two prt cards in one system. One prt connected with service provider's line and second with avaya ip500 for qsig. This avaya interlinked with other four avaya systems.
In nec, I configured 2nd prt card as a prt not qsig. Communication betn NEC 1 & all avaya both side working smoothly.
Calling from avayas to NEC 2 is no issue but from nec 2 to avayas , disconnect within 10 sec.(approx) and no rbt. At avaya side display shows call from external line.
I think, missing something?
CLI or route to route?
Thanks..

Thank you for reply,

I have done it but not solved.

At nec1 PRI rt 00, for qsig rt 02,
ccis rt 20
At NEC 2 ccis rt 20

Problem from nec 2 only.

Compare your route data and switch settings in NEC 1 with NEC 2. What is between NEC 2 and Avaya? Router? Telco?

Dear,
NEC 1 prt card connected with PRI blade of avaya IP 500
NEC 2 link with NEC 1 through ccis.

Problem only between NEC 2 and avaya.
From NEC 2 to avaya call connect without rbt but disconnect with in seconds.
From Ay to N 2 no issue.

Thank you for support

Check the following CMD's
3504>RT>2 = answer signal arrives
3509>RT>3 = wink
3520>RT>00 = wink
3521>RT>01 = sender prepause (0.5 sec)
3546>RT>0 = register release (2 sec)
Does it fail faster? Check distant end for answer signal.

I believe the Avaya IPO is waiting for CallCompleteAck from the NEC, which it will never get because the NEC does not send it. I tried for days to figure-out why I could call from the IPO to SV8100; no problems. Call from the NEC to IPO and it disconnects after 10 seconds. The " Old Disconnect Timer Ploy " is activated when the IPO doesn't get CallCompleteAck. I finally checked with NEC and they explained the NoAck/timer thing. Sv8100/8300 are pretty much the same. Connect them using H323. Works great.

Good Luck.

Quaz
