SuspendLayout and Update Speed questions

I all,

Fist question:
I have one form with several tests for each month and I want to suspend the control painting before it’s finished. I tried to use SuspendLayout but it doesn’t worked. I have more then 80 objects (textboxs, labels, etc) and it seems that the computer is out of memory.

Second question:
What is the quickest way to update information on access database? I use oledbdatareader to make a loop trough all record and executereader (with UPDATE sql command) to update each record. I have more then 2000 records to loop.

Can anyone help me?
