Last night, I had just logged into my PC (Xp sp 2), when the screen went black. I reset, then shutoff and back on, but it just said "no signal." I've tried everything. The board does have an internal video, but it doesn't work with that either. I took out my video card, then tried connecting to the internal, but nothing. The CPU fan spins, the hard drives spin, the RAM check goes, but without video, I really can't see or do anything. As well, when I don't have a keyboard hooked up, typically it beeps while booting to let you know that it didn't detect a keyboard, but it doesn't beep.

Is my motherboard fried or could something else be wrong? I just installed this motherboard, CPU and new case with power supply in August.

Pull out the power cord, reset the cmos (use cmos clear bridge) if it has one or remove the button battery for a few minutes.
Go into the bios, set defaults make sure you set first display to AGP or onboard depending on how you have it.

I cleared the cmos (disconnect power, change jumpers to 2-3 position, then back to position 1-2), then hooked back power. Still have no video on either video card or internal video and no lights on keyboard.

As well, there is no beep when I boot it up.

It sounds like you have a failed power supply.
Likely one of the rails has failed, which gives the impression the PSU is working OK but as you have discovered all you get are spinning fans but no post or boot.

You say that the ram check goes , right? Because you hear the clicks at the speaker?
If it is the case then the mobo isn't dead. Do you see the keyboard lights going on and off at power off too.

I hear the RAM click with the case open. The keyboard lights do not flicker. I suspect that it's the secondary power supply that required on this P4 board. When I installed it 6 months ago, I tried it in my old case, which didn't have the extra power supply and it did the same thing. Once I attached it to a higher power supply in the new case, it started working. Now it's back to the same thing after 6 months. I'll test it with another power supply and see if it boots.

After trying a different power supply, then taking out all the components, it turns out that the firewire card I had in there was causing the whole issue. If I take just that card out, everything works, video card, keyboard, everything. I guess I'm going to take it back.
