SUS/WUS Installation Questions

I have installed WUS on a AD relication server. I am wondering if the GPO that needs to be created to manage the service needs to reside on the Source or the Destination replication server??? Can someone provide me detailed instructions? Do I need to configure each client individualy? I have read the microsoft provided instructions and they are not very intuitive.

I noticed when the GPO was installed it was replicated to the Domain Controller, but how do I make install the software on the client side?
