SUS error

I am testing the SUS software on a Win2k3 server with sp1. I was able to install and sync the SUS server without any problems. This is setup as a workgroup type enviroment and not an AD I have a winxp machine with sp2 trying to update from the server. I have applied the settings via a Local GPO. I have ran the utitility I found in one of the threads and it is reports that the settings are correct. I can see the win2k3 server from the xp machine and even access the SUSAdmin page via IE from the xp machine. This is the error I am getting.

SelfUpdate Failure Software Synchronization Error: Agent failed detecting with reason: 0x80072ee5

Any ideas and suggestions would be helpful.
