I have setup a SUS server, but am not getting the behavior that I was expecting. I have selected option "4" in the Configure Automatic Updates and Disabled the No Auto Reboot Policy. My understanding is that "4" should force the download, run the install and inform the user that the PC will restart in 5 minutes.

Instead what I get is more like Option "3", where the user is notified of the download and asked to proceed, and prompted again to reboot.

How do I get the updates to just run, without any user interaction or prompts?

if the user logged on at that time has asmin rights, he/she will get the choice to install or not....

the only way i can think of is to force a GPO which logs off users after hours, and then schedule the sus clients to check in with the sus server after that time....HTH - Stiddy
