Doesn't seem like there is any attempt to switch to APE.

If I unplug CCA, then 7 minutes later I get this in the CC-AP hista

You have none of those messages. So the first thing to look at on yours is why there is no emergency begin message. Not sure how you switched it, NCUI reset message looks like you just reset the shelf, and that won't normally cause a switch to APE. It would be useful to unplug the cable from CCA for ten minutes, then compare the hista with above. I removed the HSR Advisory messages but there were a few of them.

You could also tcpdump on the EntGW, something like
tcpdump -iany port 4000 -w /tmp/switch.pcap
and check in Wireshark what happens when you expect it to switch.

With the shelf working normally, both the active CC and the CC-AP should be talking to the vNCUI signalling IP on port 4000.

Hi Moriendi,

Thank you so much for your help and support—I really appreciate it.

Could I ask for a favor, please? If possible, could you share with me the tested Simplex and Enterprise Gateway XML files, along with the regen file? I would appreciate it greatly.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I don't have anything I can share.

If it helps, if you make a RISO of the processor and maybe the EntGW, although XML would be enough for EntGW, and you make it available to me on download link (it will be about 4GB, this new forum software supports messaging so you can send it privately), I can test if your DB behaves the same for me.

Hi

ashraf55

Can I please ask a question - when you press the ON button next to the little display on the EntGW do you have an 'A' displayed on it to indicate that there is
a valid 'home system' backup database on it ?

Also if you
EXE-APESU:SYSMODE=EMERG;
Does the system go into survivability then ?
