I'm using Backup Exec 8.6 to backup data to an HP SureStore 24X6 DAT device. In BENT the device is not visible on the 'MEDIA' Tab, and it is not possible to perform scheduled backups.

Any ideas how to resolve this? The individual cartridges and the tape cleaning cartridge are new, the plastic cartridge holder has been replaced and the SCSI cable has been replaced.
