Surcharge TAX in Micros Simphony

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to enable surcharge tax in Micros Simphony however it is not working. Below are the steps I performed to enable surcharge:

1, Create a TAX Rate "Surcharge"
2, Create a TAX class and link it with Surcharge TAX
3, Create MI class and link "Surcharge TAX" with this MI class
4, Link MI class with menu item.
5, Put surcharge amount in MI definition and price of menu item.
6, Enable Surcharge tax in Order type parameter
7, Enable Surcharge tax in Serving period

I tried every possibility however, it is not working. Interesting thing is the same configuration is working fine in Micros 9700 HMS and RES 3700.

Does anyone tried to implement surcharge tax in Simphony? Experts need your help in this regards.
