Hi

We are developing a report which is essentially a enrolment form for a adult ed college, the form is pulling out info about the student and course they are on in order to aid speedy data collection.

However one of the sections concerns payments and we only need to display the last 3 transactions.

So we have created 3 sub reports to pull out the payments info. Eact subreport has two sections a blank section and a section which will pull data out. Has we need to display 3 blank sections if there are no payment details, 2 blank sections if there is one payment section and so on. However we run into difficulty when trying to suppress each detail section of the subreport.

Any ideas on how we can proceed with this

thanks

One way is to use just one subreport - and take off the 'can grow' option for the subreport object. Have this report print all payments in descending order (newest first) and size the subreport so that it only has room to print 3 lines, hence the last 3 payments.
