Supressing Text between groups

I want to display a groupheader as a subtitle on my report, in order to get the rest of the report to format correctly I need to place the groupheader text into the pageheader, then I supress the Groupheader section.

Is it possible then to write a formula that will supress the groupheader text now displayed in the pageheader on every page other than the 1st page of each group.

I'm using CR8.

marckssq: If I've understood you correctly why not use the GroupNumber>1 process to suppress the pageheader? This should be reset by a change of group and so you should get a group header displayed only for each new 'first' page for the group David C. Monks

I had tried this but it didn't seem to work! I've tried various combinations of trying to supress both the pageheader section and the text itself, but with no luck!
