Hello All

I would like to know how to suppress a group header if the information in the Details of group footer have been supressed.

i.e.

I have orders, broken down into departments. if the line item has bene given free of charge it gets supressed. If all order prices are zero the group footer is also supressed. But now im left with the Group Header all alone and I need to supress that as well. How can I achieve this?

Graphically;
Before....

Venues:
Venue 1 1-2 May 2005 1000 per day 2000
Venue 2 1-2 May 2005 800 per day 1600

Food:
Breakfast 1 May 2005 60 per person 3000
Lunch 2 May 2005 100 per person 5000

Parking:
3 hours 1-2 May 2005 0 0

After...

Venues:
Venue 1 1-2 May 2005 1000 per day 2000
Venue 2 1-2 May 2005 800 per day 1600
Total: 3600

Food:
Breakfast 1 May 2005 60 per person 3000
Lunch 2 May 2005 100 per person 5000
Total 8000

Parking:

Now what I need to do is supress the Parking Group Header as well. The Details and group Footer has been supressed successfully.

Your Help is much appreciated.

Thomas

Do a summary total for the group. If the maximum is zero, suppress the group. You should be able to use Group Selection (Report>Selection Formuals) rather than suppressing each section individually.

Right-click on a field and choose Insert to get a choice of Running Total or Summary.
