I have a report which has foour sub reports. My main report is reporting off the master employee file and selecting all employee names and then I bring in my sub-reports. How can I supress the section that has the employee name if none of the sub-reports returns data?

Thanks!

Since the subreports apparently aren't being evaluated until after you've displayed the names, you can't do it this way.

Alternatives are to display the name afterwards, or also place the subreports before the name and return a shared variable for use with suppression in the main report.

I know, it ain't purdy, but it'll work.
