Hi,

I have 3 groupings in my report. Let's say Group1, Group2 and Group3. Now in group3 I want to display all the areas found under Group1 and Group2 as column headings. There are a total of 11 area in my database. What I have done right now is placed this field on in Group3 header 11 times next to each other. But I want it to display only the areas found under that group and supress others. How should I do that? Group1 and Group2 are also parameter fields that is entered by the user.

Thanks,

Ekta

Try posting technical infomation:

Crystal version
Database/connectivity used
Example data
Expected output

-k

Crystal Version - 10
Database/connectivity - SQL2000/OLE DB(ADO)

Example Data :

Group1 - Eastern
Group2 - 2B
Group3 - Monthly
Area1 Area2 Area3 Area4 ... Area11

Right now I have placed my area field in group 3 header 11 times as I have a total of 11 areas in my db but I want to show only those areas that fall under Eastern region, 2B and monthly groups and supress others.

Expected Output -
Group1 - Eastern
Group2 - 2B
Group3 - Monthly
Area1 Area5 Area6

Your example data is not example data, that is an example of a bad report attempt.

Try posting data, you know, tables.fields and the data within.
