hello,
i was wondering if there was any way to rid the column heading in a Cross-Tab layout (CR9 on Win 2000 platform);

what i am doing is grouping a name field and then generating a cross-tab for each group/name, and then supressing the group footer to make it seem like one table; the trouble is that after every group (bart, maggie, homer in the example ive put together), the next group's table heading (weekdays) is still present, for example: here is what i have

day 1 day 2 day 3 day 4
---------------------------------------------------
bart 10 9 8 8.5

day 1 day 2 day 3 day 4
---------------------------------------------------
maggie 7 10 8 9

day 1 day 2 day 3 day 4
---------------------------------------------------
homer 2 5 8 4

this is what i would like to have!

day 1 day 2 day 3 day 4
---------------------------------------------------
bart 10 9 8 8.5
maggie 7 10 8 9
homer 2 5 8 4

i have tried supressing the column headings, but the field box still remains; i need the whole thing wiped out!
also, i understand that i can generate the cross-tab in the report or page header, but the days vary between the names; i.e. day 2 for bart may be wednesday, while day 2 for homer may be monday.....

any help is appreciated! thanks in advance
sonny
