Supressed Group Header

I have a report that is running properly, with the exception of the Group Header.

When I put in the necessary requirements, I get the group header and detail lines for the records that contain data. However, for the records that don't meet the criteria, the detail line is not printing, which is what I need. When the detail line is suppressed, the group header is suppressed. I need the group header to print, so we can keep track of the actual records on which we are grouping.

So, my question is: How can you supress a detail line without suppressing a group header?

TIA
Mark

When you say you are 'putting in your requirements' do you mean in the Select Expert? This is not suppressing details, but eliminating them from the report. Since you wont have any recrods in that group left, no group header will print. Ken Hamady
