Is there a way to supress the row in a cross tab?

I have:
crosstab1 crosstab2
emp1 col1 col2 .... emp1 col1 col2 ...
emp2 col1 col2 .... emp2 col1 col2...

Since I have 2 crosstabs side by side with the same row, I want to supress the row on the 2nd crosstab (employee names).
I have been able to minimize it but it still leaves just a little overhang for the border of the crosstab. I don't print the borders but would like to totally get supress the row.

Also, I would like to thank everyone for all the help you have given in the last couple of days. My report looks great with just this last item to resolve!

Not totally sure what you want to do.

But if you are hiding employee name and it still shows an empty box. Try Format Cross tab -> Customise -> Format Gridlines. You can hide slected gridlines and eliminate box.

Hi. That's what I did but even though you hide the gridlines, it still retains the grid size. I shade the totals row which shows the overhang and would like to figure a way to either make the employee names as mall as possible (including the cell size) or supress the row.
Thanks

Have you tried unchecking "Show cell margin " in customise tab.

Makes Cross tab much smaller

Tried it and yes it works. I'll check with user to see if it's ok. Thanks
