We wrote a dll-function for automatically sending e-mails out of a database application. The function uses SimpleMapi to do this task. Everything works fine except of one issue, which drives us crazy:
The recipients of mails processed with our function always has the 'Send in Microsoft Rich Text format' option enabled. All our defaults are set to send in Plain Text and when I enter a new address in the address book using Outlook I get the 'Send in Microsoft Rich Text format' option disabled!
Does anybody know why the defaults in SimpleMapi don't match the system defaults and how to change them??
(The problem with rich text is that recipients, who don't use Microsoft programs, can't read our attachments)

Thanks for any help!
