I have made a report on a query based on a table. But when i open the report and the table has no records, the reports shows the messages "Unable to Access First Record" and report doesn't opens up. How can i make the report to still open up with blank details even if the table has no records.
Also how to trap that the query fetching the records from this table has fetched no records.

The problem is in your query or table. You get that error messgage because there is a problem with the data source. If the report had no records to display, it would still run and display a blank report.
