Hello all. This is most likely a simple thing, but I cannot find anything on it. Perhaps I am looking for the wrong description of my question. Hope one of you can make sense of it.

Have a report which uses a drill down for details, only subtotals are displayed. If a record is not in line with the expected result, a text box is displayed telling them to drill down. I don't want the text to display when printing. I assumed it was a simple supression, but can't find a way to do it.

Any advice?

Hi BobPV,

Which version of Crystal are you using ?

In Versions 9,10 there is a function called drilldowngrouplevel. In the suppress formula for the field you can type drilldowngrouplevel = 1. Please let us know this work ?!

Bummer, I am still in 8.5. And the app I am dealing with uses the 8.5 DLL to generate reports.

So I am not able to go to 9 or 10 at this time. Thanks for the help however, I appreciate it.
