supress ole object on printing

in XI, we needed a hyperlink back to a java page. I put in an ole object and the link works but it also prints when you print the report. Is there a way to supress this object only when printing or is there a better way to code for this? I've read where some things can't be supressed and was hoping this wasn't the case here.
