No combination of checked/unchecked boxes for "Show gridlines" panel of the Chart Expert seems to make any difference to CR7's decision as to whether to display X-axis numbers and vertical gridlines. It looks as if it tries to do so if the number of x values (1..n) is below some threshold, regardless of my wishes! With several dozen x values the numbers merge into a black mass and it's very difficult to make out the locus. Any suggestions?
