Hello,

I have an mainreport with 3 subreports. I include the results of the subreport in the mainreport by shared numbervar's. In the mainreport I make a calculation with the shared numbervar's. Based on that calculation I want to suppress the subreports in some cases. But as we all know, a suppressed subreport doesn't run and therefor doesn't give shared numbervar's to calculate with.
Is there a way to work this problem out?

Greetings,
Jeroen Boon.

Can you do the suppression in the subreport itself instead of the main report? That way it will run as you want but not show.

Have you tried to conditionally make the text of the returned subreport the same color as the background? Software Training and Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

Hello,

the main report is grouped on Itemnumber. The three subreports are placed in Detail-a, detail-b and Detail-c of the mainreport. In the groupfooter of the mainreport I ad shared numnbervar1 from subreport 1, shared numnbervar2 from subreport 2 and shared numnbervar3 from subreport 3. If the sum is 0 then I want to suppress not only the details, but also the header and footer of the itemnumber.
So it is not enough to suppress as much as possible in the subreports itself, or give the subreporttext the same color as the background.

Greetings,
Jeroen Boon.
