In CE 80 and 85, in the report scheduling process, one of the options presented allows the user to revise the "Selection Formula". How can this option be removed ? We do not want users to be able to change theselections other than what has been presented in the Parameters.

TIA,
Tim

What Tab are you on (in the CMC)where it says .... "allows the user to revise the "Selection Formula".

Schedule Tab? Parameter Tab? Filter Tab?

I couldn't find this anywhere. DataDog

I assume that you mean that you're using ePortfolio.

I think that you'll have to edit ePortfolio to do so, I haven't seen any optins to do this.

If you are wanting to make it not possible for ALL users of ePortfolio to edit the Selection Formula you can make a reasonably simple change to the schedule.csp file to remove the option for "Filters" from the combo-box.

If you have a basic understanding of HTML you should be able to make the edit yourself. Look for the string "option value" in the schedule.csp file and comment out the entire line referring to "formula". Sorry I cant' be more specific but I don't have a CE8 or CE85 system handy.

If you want to make the access to the "Filters" screen selectively available it is also possible but the changes necessary to make more substantial changes to the schedule.csp file that detects the logged in user and then determines what the user's access should be.

I hope this helps. Regards,
