I'm somewhat new to report writing so go easy on me. Lets see, currently I have this format:

GH1 need to suppress if all all other GF's are suppressed
GH2 always suppressed
GF2 Suppressed if Variable =0
GF1 Suppressed if Variable =0

I can't base the formula to suppress GH1 on the variable so I don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated I'm on V9. Also, are there any forum guidlines on how to post in crystal forums?

Can you write a sql expression which will return a true or false to allow you to suppress GH1. The expression will be evaluated at the beginning of the report and can then be used to suit you needs.

I don't know how that would work? Basically I want to suppress the group header if the group footer is suppressed.

Please share the contents of the variable formulas and where they are placed.
