Suppressing blank fields in Crystal

Hi folks

Can anyone give me a hint on how to suppress a blank field.

That is, not a section but conditionally a field only if it is blank for a record.

I'm thinking I might have to create a formulae as the only supppression I see is for sections. But, not sure how to create the formalae if that is the way to go.

If a field is blank, why do you need to suppress it? In any case, each field, once placed on the report layout, has a suppress attribute/expression as part of its formatting options.
