Is there a way to suppress some of the outcomes in a filed and not others? I have several cross tabs and currently the information is displayed in the following fashion:

Carrington Health Center - Carrington, ND
Carrington Health Center - Carrington, ND
Central Kansas Med Cntr-Great Bend, KS
St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center
CHI Health Connect at Home - Fargo
CHI Health Connect at Home - Fargo
CHI NE Health at Home - Lincoln, NE
CHI NE Health at Home - Lincoln, NE
Continuing Care Hospital - Lexington, KY
Continuing Care Hospital - SJE
Continuing Care Hospital - SJH
Flaget Memorial Hospital-Bardstown, KY
Flaget Memorial Hospital-Bardstown, KY
Franciscan Health System - Tacoma, WA
Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care
St. Anthony Hospital - Gig Harbor
St. Clare Hospital - Lakewood
St. Elizabeth Hospital
St. Francis Hospital
St. Joseph Medical Center Tacoma
Franciscan Medical Group - Tacoma, WA
Franciscan Medical Group - Tacoma, WA

I want to suppress the second field (the Facility) were there is only one Facility (with the same name). I want it to look like this.

Carrington Health Center - Carrington, ND
Central Kansas Med Cntr-Great Bend, KS
St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center
CHI Health Connect at Home – Fargo
CHI NE Health at Home - Lincoln, NE
Continuing Care Hospital - Lexington, KY
Continuing Care Hospital – SJE
Continuing Care Hospital – SJH
Flaget Memorial Hospital-Bardstown, KY
Franciscan Health System - Tacoma, WA
Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care
St. Anthony Hospital - Gig Harbor
St. Clare Hospital – Lakewood
St. Elizabeth Hospital
St. Francis Hospital
St. Joseph Medical Center Tacoma
Franciscan Medical Group - Tacoma, WA

Is this possible?

jschill2628 ,

Over the past 2 1/2 years you have posted many questions and received many helpful replies from Tek-Tip members. Yet, you have only ONCE posted a customary "THANK YOU" for these valuable posts.

These [purple]Little Purple Stars[/purple] identify threads for Tek-Tips browsers, as ones that have been helpful. They also act as a token "Thank You" to the one or ones who posted valuable information. And they identify the recipient as a grateful member.

If you have one of the more recent versions of Crystal, you can use Formula Fields in Crystal. What you need to do is write a Formula Field that lumps the values that you think should be lumped.

It always helps to give your Crystal version - 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11 2008 or whatever. Methods sometimes change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.
