Suppress selected errors from statrep.nsf

Is there an easy way to suppress Domino Directory failure and unable to deliver error messages from being written to statrep.nsf? We are inundated with these messages because spammers send messages to random names at our legitimate mail domain which are rejected because the names are not in our Domino Directory. The emails are stopped, but the statrep.log file is filled with the failure messages (two messages per bogus email).

The only thing that comes to mind is in the Server Statistics Config document (on the config tab), on the options tab you can filter certain tasks from statistics collection. Turning off SMTP would suppress collection of NDRs, but that would also suppress all other SMTP messages as well. Looks like the filters aren't any more granular than that.
