Using Crystal Reports 9, I have written a report for management and in order to give them all the data that they requested I had to create two On-Demand subreports that I have put in Report Footer b. When you open the report, the detail is hidden but available for drill-down and all you see is the desired headers and footers of which report footer b is one. My issue is that I only want the report footer b to be displayed when they have drilled down to the details. When I choose to Hide(Drill Down Ok) it also hides report footer a which I want displayed. Is there a formula that would allow me to hide report footer b while still showing report footer a? Thanks for your help.

Make another group which is at the same granularity as group header A.

An example might be to use the same field in a formula and group by that field.

Instead of using Hide (drilldown OK), highlight RF_b->suppress->x+2 and enter:

drilldowngrouplevel = 0

This will suppress the report footer b until drilldown.
