We added a single-digit (1) mailbox (Type: Transfer Only, transfers to system speed call / external number) we want to reference in the system greeting. If I call in and dial the single digit number, I first hear, "You are being transferred to 1." Is there a way to suppress this message? In other words, when someone dials 1, we would like if they would simply be transferred, without the, "You are being transferred..." message.

Thank you!

This is a frequently asked question and I've never seen an answer that you can do so.

There are ways to do it by using ACD queues and single digit dialing instead of using the VM as the AA but this eliminates the possibility of dialing by extension.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

I asked that to Mitel support team long ago and their answer was: those are embedded voicemail system prompts and system prompts cannot be changed for embedded voicemail.

You can also use an acd path as kwbmitel suggest and if you need dial by extension use one optio to forward to embedded voicemeil.

Or use the nupoint

Cheers
