I have created some mailing labels in CE9. There is some data in the first line of the label that I want the user to see when the labels are created but I do not want this data to print on the label itself.

How can I not print the first line of data on labels?

Crystal doesn't allow you to change a report at print time, so the alternative might be to create a parameter which asks the user if they intend to print, then you can use the response to suppress the line of interest.

When creating mailing labels, people generally right click the details and select insert section below, and palce each line into different sections.

This makes it easy to suppress blank lines, or in your case suppress conditionally based on the parameter.
