I have generated a report which is having some 16 rows. In one page 16 rows will be accommodated. Now, if the next page is having no rows also, all the page header, details, report footer, page footer are visible. Can anyone please help me out?

Thanks,
Swetha.

Its because there is something which does not quite fit onto the first page. try suppressing blank group footers or making sure no unneccessary white space is causing a new page.

In section expert if you are using New page after anywhere, open the Formula box oppsite the check mark and enter

not onlastrecord

I didnt use new page after anywhere in the report. I didnt use any groups also.

Somehow you have some white space at the end of your report which does not fit onto a single page.

Look in design mode to see what sections are displaying, and then draw the bottom of each section up against the fields to eliminate white space.

Can we assume that this problem is when you view the report in Crystal and not in some other application to which you have exported the report?

In every section i have a boreder line so that white space wont come anywhere. The problem is when i view the report in crystal reports itself, when i am exportng it to excel also it is coming.

Can you explain why you say the "details" are visible in page 2 when there are no rows? Have you conditionally suppressed fields in the detail section? In the section expert, try formatting each section to "suppress blank section".

Also, take a look at the gray area to the left of the report canvas on the second page and report back with what report sections are identified there.
