there is no way to suppress it other than fix it. and that means having the mb owner turn it off or turn it off in the class of service. I am trying to find out myself how that can happen as you can't setup a outcall with out putting a number in the system from your mailbox. Anyone have any idea
well turning it off in the class of service does not work Avaya tells me to have the user turn it off or put a number in the mailbox or to put a number in the mb from menu 9.1
I don't know about the Aria systems, but the Lucent systems, Sierra and IMA-CA have an option to turn this error off. Also, you can turn off outcalling in menu 9.
This happens when users login, then press 4, for notification, then 1 to turn it on. Thinking it is for
MWI. The user interface allows this to happen without a schedule or number.
You are right, turning it off in the COS does not stop it. Outcalling needs to be set to no in the COS initially, and allowwed only for those who need it.
