I'm working with a report that is first grouped by item number and then grouped by locations.
It's possible to have more than one location per item number.
In my details section, I have a list of sales by order number.
The order numbers show up as many times as there are locations and that's fine, I've made a formula to work around that.
I'm trying to suppress both groups if the open order units is x% greater than the "max" of the location.
The report works, however, I don't want to show all details. I just want to show the locations that are x% above the max.
When I try to use the section expert, it works for GH1(item number). However, if I input the same formula for GH2(location(s)), it will suppress the locations that have less than x% of the max, but leave open any and all locations that are greater than x% even if the GH1 field was suppressed.
So when the report runs, it appears that some item numbers have multiple locations, even though they are for a different item. It's not suppressing that data because for that particular location, it's greater that x%.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
