Is there a way using media="print" to hide a footer (DIV) if it happens to end up on a page of it's own?

I'd like to have a footer that appears on every page. Is that even possible? If not, I need to hide the one down there so a whole page doesn't print just to see the footer.

AFAIK that is not possible. There is no logic built into CSS and there's no way to determine what paper size client will be using. For precision printing, outputting to pdf is probably your best bet.

As for the repeating footer -- I do believe that thead in tables had this option, it might exist for tfoot as well.

Cool, didn't realize there was a THEAD and TFOOT. Thanks!
