suppress duplicates 1

using CR8.5, having trouble with duplicate records on report
am able to suppress duplicates, but summarized fields have
suppressed data included. do suppressed records get included in summaries??

Suppressing a field simply hides it from view. It does not exclude it from any summary. Try a conditional running total with the same condition you were using to suppress.

Optionally you can eliminate the rows from the report by either using appropriate criteria in the record selection formula, or if they're true dupes, select daatbase->Select Distinct Records
