I am displaying the Top 5 in group #1 and leaving the rest marked as "others". In group #2 I need to suppress the data only if it is in the "others" list. I know I can suppress it by not displaying "others" but I need that information. Any Ideas on this?

Thanks in Advance

There are a couple of ways. I would creae a running total field that counts the groups, and then use a suppress formula for details that says:

{#runningTot} > 5 Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

What is the best way to create a running total field in CR 8.0?

Insert - Field Object.
Select Running Total and click the "new' button.
Set yours to 'evaluate' once per group. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
